Lauren is happy to join the Birth Center of Beaumont family and help people in this exciting time of their life. As someone who enjoys helping others, she is at ease assisting clients with scheduling, payments, and other various needs. Getting to know the clients and see them through their birth journey is both rewarding and heartwarming.
Lauren is a Beaumont native and Texas A&M graduate. She spent 8 years in the classroom teaching children from the ages of 5-13 in Texas, Louisiana, Missouri, and South Korea. She is also a certified yoga and meditation instructor and has been teaching yoga for the last 8 years. A former expat, she has traveled around the world to Asia, Europe, and South America. Her next adventure is coming back home to Beaumont, where she is excited to share yoga in Southeast Texas and be a part of the family at the Birth Center. She enjoys spending time outside, exploring new places, cooking, reading, and taking her dog, Tucker, on long walks.
Bridget is a senior student midwife from Vidor, TX. She now lives in Louisiana with her husband and two children. Her first birth was in a hospital and she knew she did not want the same experience again. After learning all she could about birth, she had her second baby at the Birth Center of Beaumont. She could not get enough of the birth world and changed paths into midwifery. She is over halfway through her 2 year training with Jackie Griggs. Every interaction Bridget has had since starting her midwifery journey has been seen as a blessing.
"Nothing is more rewarding than seeing the abundance of love within a growing family. Being with them through their prenatal care and birth allows me to be a part of their family temporarily. We get to laugh, cry, and pray together; all while I strengthen my clinical skills by ensuring their health and safety."
